About Me.
Having recently completed a BSc Economics degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, I am now tutoring full-time following over 5 years of part-time experience. This began when I was in year 8 and helped new students who had moved to the UK recently and struggled to adapt to the vocabulary used in lessons, which developed into a part-time job.
My passion for maths began at a very young age, and throughout school doing Maths never felt like a boring task, but a rewarding challenge. I aspire to instil this outlook in my students and give them the confidence and skills that they need to reach their full potential. Maths can be a huge source of stress for many students, but with 1 to 1 tuition we can focus our attention on anything that the student doesn’t understand, taking our time to really understand key concepts before moving on.
My aim is to aid students in reaching their full potential, whether they need to overcome the all too common fear of maths or want to push themselves to achieve full marks.
One of the driving factors behind my decision to tutor full time is the significant impact of the coronavirus pandemic on education, which I hope to help offset.
